I’m a Southern California-based performer, born and raised in Orange County. I grew up with a pretty solid soundtrack to my life, as a kid of two music-loving parents my love of performing was never a surprise. Before I was even old enough to speak in full sentences I was belting Foo Fighters lyrics—with the wind in my hair, strapped into my toddler car seat in the back seat of my mom’s convertible. (Thankfully at that point I had no idea what the meaning of any of those lyrics were.)
Everything about my childhood screamed So Cal kid, from summer surfing lessons to Disneyland annual passes. My brother actually named me after the Casey Jr. train ride at Disneyland. (Fortunately his favorite wasn’t Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.)
My brother is also partly responsible for my love of theatre performance. When he was six, all the first graders were required to be in the school play. He hated every minute of it. But I remember as a three year-old, watching him in Peter Pan—I wanted to be up there. The next year as a four year-old kindergartener, I was not going to wait for my forced first grade ensemble role. I was old enough to audition and the stage was going to be mine. Enter my first role, a poison poppy adjacent to the yellow brick road. And that lead into my education career through high school—a continuous and unending cycle of audition, rehearse, perform, repeat. And loving every second of it.
I grew up taking voice lessons and performing in school and community theater musicals. In middle school I began studying at the South Coast Repertory Conservatory, taking acting and musical theatre classes. Many summers were spent in daily musical rehearsals with my SCR “summer players” family. After high school I continued my passion at Millikin University, where I graduated from the Honors College with a BFA in Musical Theatre in 2022.
When I’m not auditioning, rehearsing or performing, you can find me playing soccer, crocheting, baking, or watching reruns of How I Met Your Mother, Friends, or The Great British Bake Off.
